I’m sure you know that facial skin cleansing is the core of any skincare routine. What do you use to clean your skin? A gel wash or some foamy mousse cleanser? Do use a facial brush with them? No? I was making that mistake for quite a while too but not anymore. Here is why you need a facial brush in your skincare routine:
This post is written in collaboration with Remington and Walmart, but all opinions are genuine and my own.
Reason 1. It’s More Effective
Do you know how much oil, dirt, and dead cells you leave behind when clean your face manually? Automatic facial brushes are proven to be 10x more effective than manual cleansing. Hand on heart, this fact was the main reason why I got my facial cleansing brush in the first place.
Reason 2. Your Serum Will Work Better
Clean skin that is free of excess oil, dead cells, and pollution will absorb your serums and moisturizers way better because it’s not clogged. This, in turn, means happier and more nourished skin.
Reason 3. It Works for Most Skin Types
The Remington facial brush I’m using has 3 speeds that can help you easily control the cleaning process. I found the brush very soft, yet it cleaned my skin perfectly even on the slowest speed #1 which most probably would be perfect for somebody with more sensitive skin than mine.
Reason 4. It’s Easy to Use
There is nothing easier than to use a facial brush. All you do is charge it before the first use and clean away your skin. My brush lasts quite a few washes before I need to recharge it. Oh, and I love the aesthetic of this one and how easy it is to hold it. Did I tell you it also comes with a stylish glossy white beauty bag for easy storage and travel purposes? Not convinced yet? Let me top it off – it’s SHOWER-PROOF! Yes, you can use Remington while taking a shower. How cool!
Reason 5. It’s Beyond Affordable
This is my absolute favorite part. You can get this brush for under $45! I used to have a 4x more expensive brush and, let me tell you, my Remington is just as great and may be better : )
P.S. – The Remington Facial Cleansing Brush is also available at Walmart and on Walmart.com for under $40.
Let me know if you also use facial brushes. How do you like them?

great article. keep it up
Thank you for stopping by Bruzene!
Interesting article. I used to use one, but it seemed it was irritating my skin more and making me breakout. I wonder if I just wasn’t using the right one. I’ll have to check out the Remington one! Thank you for sharing!

I use a silcone brushand I like it very much.
Ohh I’ve been looking into a facial brush, this one looks great!
I agree. I found Remington being a good alternative to more expensive brands.
I love my face rush but I never really know how to properly clean it. What do you do?
That’s a great question, LoCo! I move my brush gently and do circle movements. Start from the center of your forehead. Move to the right first, then to the left. Once you are done with your forehead, clean the rest of your T-zone (nose and chin). I leave my cheeks for the last step. Move the brush from the chin diagonally up (this is a great facial exercise too). Hope this helps 🙂
I didn’t know a lot of the info you’ve shared here! I do know that my skin looks much better when I use mine 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
Glad if the post could help. Discovering facial brushes a few years ago was a big thing for me!
I love this! AND LOVE YOUR BLOG:) Hope to see more great post!
